According to a 2023 report by the United Nations Environment Programme, global annual plastic production exceeds 430 million tons, with two-thirds of these plastic products being short-term use items that quickly become waste. The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) estimates that in 2019, around 350 million tons of plastic waste were generated worldwide. Of this, 45% was landfilled, 22% was indiscriminately discarded on land or in the ocean, 17% was incinerated, and only 9% was recycled.

By categorizing and breaking down urban recycled plastic waste according to color and then combining it in specific proportions, we create a unique color system.
